The Cedar Mountain Community abounds with talented, caring, hard-working folk.  There are authors, wood sculptors, painters, craftsmen and women, musicians and more who help weave the fabric of our community.

The following is a mere starting point!  If I have inadvertently missed someone, PLEASE let me know!

        Cedar Mountain

They can do wonders with a piece of steel, fashioning pine cones, trees, and animals such as turkeys, deer and other fabulous works of art.  If it’s metal – they can do it. They also duplicate antique car parts and were restoring a Nash Rambler in a garage next door to the shop.

Their work is so specialized that they have had to build their own machinery.

When you are visiting the White Squirrel Festival this weekend, check out the White Squirrel Metal Sculptures above the traffic lights at French Broad and Main.
